Bruce Chezem – Project Manager - Director of Marketing

With a career in information technology spanning 3 decades, Bruce is comfortable immersing himself in any phase of an eGovernment website project. Whether architecting new projects, maintaining current jurisdictions or designing graphics for a marketing client, his high interest and enthusiasm direct his uniquely artful attitude.

Bruce has a diverse career in a variety of industries including California State government, film and television production, software engineering, construction, pharmaceutical, medical, cable television, billing, lending, and accounting.

Bruce is an easy mannered, team spirited, and results driven project manager and business professional. "I’ve mixed my business education and my extensive background in business with my years of software engineering to bring about a blend of creative talents and technical skills that I enjoy presenting and practicing in every municipal project I take on."

After hours, Bruce enjoys playing around with many of the visual arts and culinary arts. During baseball season, he's likely to be rooting on 'his' Giants.

Gary Betz – Director of Operations

Gary brings over 30 years of business experience to CSD with skills ranging from product development, product marketing and marketing communications. Gary’s last major gig was managing the corporate web presence and product documentation needs for California Micro Devices, a Silicon Valley semiconductor company.

 

More recently, Gary set his sights on expanding his web consulting business. Gary has successfully deployed web solutions for a range of clients including value-added resellers, contract research organizations, attorneys, and alternative health providers. He enjoys working with his clients to develop an effective Internet marketing solution for their company while learning about their business strategies. Gary has embraced the use of Drupal, an open-source content management system (CMS) platform that has given the web development community a highly-customizable, cost effective solution for both community-oriented and traditional commercial website deployments.

In his spare time, Gary enjoys cycling, woodworking and playing the piano.

C.J. MacDonald - Chief Technologist

C.J. is a CMS Architect and Digital Media Technology specialist with 14 years designing and managing media delivery systems. Areas of expertise are in video and social media design, product and project management from end to end including storage, delivery and streaming, rights management and copy protection, IP issues and licensing.

C.J. has a Bachelors of Arts and Science from Queen's University in Canada and an MBA from San Francisco State University.

In his spare time, C.J. likes playing Age of Empires with his daughters.
